Program: Pruning by April Harris
When, why, and how to prune plants? Plants need to grow healthy growth, we like to beautify the by improving their shape, and it boosts blooms. This presentation covers simple techniques, the right tools, and tips for avoiding common mistakes. We will learn the right way and the right time to prune for formal and informal landscapes.
April Harris is a retired university administrator, an Orange County Master Gardener, president of the Windermere Garden Club, and a National Parks Service Volunteer at Canaveral National Seashore on the Wilson’s Plover shorebird monitoring team. Her life-long interest in gardening was started by her grandmother’s beautiful gardens, especially her roses.
