Program: Nehrling Gardens 

Presented by Theresa Schretzmann-Myers. Dr. Henry Nehrling purchased 65 acres in the late 1800s near the town of Gotha. As a Florida pioneer horticulturist, he developed 25 acres into a tropical garden. After many decades of tourists, and then neglect, the Henry Nehrling Society was formed and the property was placed on the National Register of Historic Sites in 2000. Join us to learn much more about the beautiful gardens.
