Wekiva Youth Camp

Wekiva Youth Camp

By granting scholarships and encouraging sponsorship, Members of  OGC help send local children to the beautiful Camp Wekiva for summer fun and environmental education activities. The camp, owned by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, is located in Wekiva State Park. Many Florida garden club members serve as volunteers, counselors and instructors to work with the 3rd to 8th grade students during the summer.

Donations to help fund the many needs of the Wekiva Youth Camp are always welcomed and appreciated!  The FFGC website has detailed information of The Wekiva Youth Camp Program!  Donations may be made at any time, payable to Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Please be certain to note the donation is specifically for The Wekiva Youth Camp. Donations are used for food, milk, orange juice, supplies, programs such as Nature, Crafts, Swimming, Canoeing, building and equipment maintenance and repair/ replacement, etc.  All of the Florida Garden Clubs actively financially support and help run the Camp, celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary!
